Reports 2024 2024 Lead Hazard Mitigation Report This report is written in accordance with Lead Hazard Mitigation of the R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-128.1-1.5 and includes the below items as well as other related efforts of the Rhode Island Department of Health Lead Poisoning Prevention Program:• Educating people with regard to lead hazards and how they can be avoided, mitigated, and/or abated;• Coordinating the enforcement of laws pertaining to lead hazard control, mitigation and abatement, including the Lead Poisoning Prevention Act, Chapter 24.6 of Title 23, and minimum housing codes and standards; and• Coordinating efforts with local governments and other agencies to improve housing conditions. 2024 Lead Hazard Mitigation Report SHAB Report 2024 In accordance with Rhode Island General Law § 45-53-13, the Rhode Island Housing Resources Commission (HRC) submits the following annual status report for the State Housing Appeals Board. This report includes information on appeals made to the State Housing Appeals Board in the previous calendar year, 2023. This will be the final status report for the State Housing Appeals Board as the Board has been replaced by a land use docket in the state superior court as of January 1, 2024. SHAB Report 2024 HRC Resources Commission Annual Report 2024 In accordance with Rhode Island General Law§ 42-128-16, the Rhode Island Housing Resources Commission (HRC) submits the following annual report. This report includes information on HRC activities and programs, housing related data, and findings regarding current housing issues in the state. HRC Resources Commission Annual Report 2024 2023 HRC Monitoring Agent Program Report 2023 Pursuant to § 45-53-3.2, the Housing Resources Commission (“Commission”) is required to submit a report on the approved monitoring agent program by January 1st of each year to the Governor and the General Assembly. Please accept the following updates as this year’s report. The monitoring agent program aims to ensure that municipally subsidized affordable housing developments in the state remain affordable and in compliance with program requirements. T HRC Monitoring Agent Program Report 2023 2023 Lead Hazard Mitigation Report Pursuant to § 42-128.1-5 (c)(3), the Housing Resources Commission ("HRC") is required to submit an annual report no later than March of each year to the Governor and the General Assembly. Gen. Laws § 45-53-13 requires the Housing Resources Commission ("HRC") to submit a report regarding the State Housing Appeals Board by March 15th of each year to the General Assembly. This report is to contain the annual status of all active cases and appeals pending before the State Housing Appeals Board. With gratitude to Rhode Island Housing for managing the State Housing Appeals Board through December 2022 and for assisting in the collection of this data, the enclosed attachment includes the summary of appeals addressed by the board in 2022.
