State Incentivized Housing Development Dashboard
The Executive Office of Housing and RIHousing work together to support the development and preservation of affordable housing across Rhode Island. The map and table below highlight housing projects that are incentivized by state housing programs, having been awarded funds or closed financing since 2021. The table includes the number of projects and housing units in each municipality. Projects marked with an asterisk are partially or fully preservation of existing affordable housing units by refinancing, refurbishing, and/or extending affordability restrictions, rather than creating new units of housing.
The map and table below show that 32 of Rhode Island’s 39 municipalities are home to at least one project supported by state housing incentive programs in predevelopment, under construction, or completed. By the numbers:
