Programs
The Executive Office of Housing (EOH) leads Rhode Island’s efforts to expand access to safe, affordable, and sustainable housing. Through a range of state-funded and state-run programs, EOH supports residents across all income levels, from renters and first-time homebuyers to developers and municipalities working to create housing opportunities.
Our programs address key housing needs by promoting affordable rental housing, supporting homeownership, revitalizing communities, and repurposing underutilized properties. These initiatives include financing for new construction, tax incentives for developers, funding to support affordable homeownership opportunities, and technical support to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
By coordinating with local governments, nonprofit partners, and the private sector, EOH ensures these programs are delivered equitably and efficiently, helping Rhode Islanders find homes they can afford and strengthening communities statewide.
